For the past 18 years, ZAP (Zoo, Arts, and Parks) has helped support more than 160 arts, cultural, and zoological organizations, and more that 30 parks, trails, and recreation centers. ZAP makes it possible for nearly 4 million free admissions to be granted for ZAP-funded events each year, and more than 7 million people participate in ZAP-funded cultural activities annually. When you pay sales tax, 1 penny for every $10 purchase benefits Salt Lake County’s cultural organizations and recreational sites.
