Corporate Council: Businesses Making a Difference

“Our research has shown that a thriving arts and entertainment scene is important to business retention and expansion. We are fortunate to have Ballet West and many other organizations contributing to Utah’’s vibrant arts scene.”
— Theresa Foxley, President & CEO, Economic Development Corporation of Utah (EDCUtah)

Now entering its 55th season in 2018, Ballet West has grown to become one of America’s premier ballet companies. Founding artistic director Willam Christensen’s The Nutcracker is the longest running production in the United States as it approaches its 75th anniversary in 2019. In 2017, a brand-new $3 million production premiered to rave reviews. To continue to succeed, Ballet West relies on support from all members of its community. Your donation to Ballet West supports the main company and its high-caliber artists and productions, as well as the Frederick Quinney Lawson Ballet West Academy and a vast array of education and outreach programming. With more than 100,000 followers on social media, Ballet West’s stage truly is the world (Ballet West has the largest number of followers amongst all of Utah’s performing arts organizations). Now, Ballet West looks to the future, with the goal of enhancing Utah’s reputation as a destination for the arts.
