Education and Outreach
Ballet West is committed to providing quality education programs that allow teachers and students of all ages to experience the joy and magic of live ballet regardless of financial or geographical barriers.
The Ballet West Educational and Outreach program has four main components: I CAN DO, Ballet West for Children, Ballet West In-Theatre Performances, and First Look.
In 1963 Ballet West began education programs for students and teachers of all ages. Each year, Ballet West Educational and Outreach programs serve more than 20 districts, 320 schools, and 100,000 students throughout the state. In addition, Ballet West serves numerous home schools and special needs groups.
Ballet West Educational and Outreach programs are supported by generous contributions from public minded corporations, individuals, foundations, government agencies, and by a broad base of community support.
