Snow White, a world premiere opens this week

Two years in the making, Ballet West is proud to present Snow White, a world premiere choreographed by Principal Ballet Master Pamela Robinson Harris and Christopher Sellars, First Soloist. Featuring Ballet West II dancers and students from the Ballet West Academy, Snow White will grace the Janet Quinney Lawson Capitol Theatre, November 8 and 9 for just three performances.

Part of Ballet West’s ongoing Family Classics series, this whimsical and timeless tale is performed in just over an hour with guided narration so that even the youngest members of the audience can fully understand the drama on stage. Snow White features entirely new costumes by Costume Production Director David Heuvel, and large, engulfing sets. The story is taken from the Grimm’s fairy tale and receives an illustrious treatment with the magic mirror, poisoned apple, and mysterious dwarves that the entire family will love.
