James Jobson-Larkin, who hails from New York City, will be joining Ballet West as a Corps Artist for the 2024-25 season. His first dance experience was when his mom took him to see a performance of The Nutcracker in New York. He then joined Ballet Academy East in New York with Summer Intensive programs throughout the country. He recently danced with Cincinnati Ballet 2.

Growing up, alongside his ballet training, he was studying music, which included getting into The Juilliard School. “However, juggling both of those was difficult, so I had to decide which direction to take. I really like music, but dancing was such a big part of my life and I like how dance is expressing what you feel the music should sound like,” said Jobson.

See James perform with the main Company in Ballet West’s upcoming 2024-25 season!
