Beloved fairy tale hits the stage with new production by Ballet West | Good Things Utah

Just as incredible as The Nutcracker is Ballet West’s The Sleeping Beauty, which will feature brand new sets for the first time in 30 years. Artistic Director Adam Sklute shared with ABC4 how the new sets compliment the beautiful production, complete with flying dancers, pyrotechnics and true athleticism.

“Ballet West dancers are incredible,” said Sklute. “Not only is [The Sleeping Beauty] a great spectacle in storytelling, the dancing in it is some of the hardest there is, so dancers have to really be top-rate athletes and classically-trained artists to do it and do it well. I think Ballet West artists do a spectacular job.”
