Ballet West premieres new sets with their production of Sleeping Beauty | ABC4
1890 is when [The Sleeping Beauty] first came out and Tchaikovsky wrote the music for it . . . When the Disney movie was made, they actually used the Tchaikovsky score for their music, so all these hummable tunes, if you know the Disney music, come from this score and you’ll recognize it. –Adam Sklute
