Due to popular demand, we’ve added an additional
performance in Park City!
Ballet West is excited to bring the world’s most famous love story to the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Center in Park City.
After 25 years, Michael Smuin’s Romeo and Juliet makes a glorious return to Ballet West! Sweeping and energetic, Smuin’s version captures William Shakespeare’s humor, drama, and heartache. It is carried by Sergei Prokofiev’s dramatic score that tells the Bard’s story about two star-crossed lovers, caught in their families’ feuds.
Our performance is recommended for ages 8 and up and masks will be required for all attendees regardless of age or vaccination status. No babes in arms. Due to limited space, a live orchestra will not be present at performance.
Run time is 2 hours 30 minutes, including two intermissions.
