Ballet West has received notice from Salt Lake County that its performing arts facilities will remain closed through the end of February. Following this directive, the Company will postpone Romeo and Juliet, scheduled for February 12-20.
Company officials are considering the availability of Janet Quinney Lawson Capitol Theatre to reschedule this program later in the season. In the meantime, the Company continues plans to mount Bolero and The Dream, April 9-17. In the coming weeks, ticket holders will be notified of rescheduled dates.
The County’s decision to remain closed is motivated by an abundance of caution and an effort to reduce the impact on our medical resources.
Ticket holders can contact the Ballet West Patron Services for further details at 801-869-6920. Options for ticket holders will be announced when new dates are scheduled.
