Living Historic Landmark! Ballet West's historic Nutcracker production, first staged in 1944 by Ballet West’s founder Willam Christensen, is now designated as a Living Historic Landmark by the state of Utah - the first such designation for a ballet. Discover why this iconic classic, set to Tchaikovsky’s iconic score performed live by the Ballet West Orchestra, has become synonymous with holiday tradition.

THEMED NIGHTS & PERFORMANCES

2/7 @ 12PM: Dress up performance*! Dress up as your favorite Nutcracker Character or in your fanciest attire! Make sure you take photos and tag us @BalletWest1 for a chance to be featured on our social media.
12/12-12/14: Alumni Weekend! - Special weekend for previous Nutcracker Children's Cast performers.
12/13: Nutcracker Magic - Prior to the matinee, join us for festive crafts, tasty treats, and more. Tickets sold separately.
12/14 @ 5PM: Ugly Sweater Night*! Wear your favorite "ugly" sweater to bring on some holiday cheer! To celebrate this traditional holiday garb, we will be offering an exclusive discount on sweaters at our Boutique for this performance.
12/26 @ 7PM: Pin Night! Show off your favorite pins and bring your duplicates to trade with other pin enthusiasts! Plus, stop by the boutique for an exclusive discount on our pins.
