Package 1: Live The Nutcracker Legend

You’ll play a principal role in Willam Christensen’s beloved classic, The Nutcracker, with parts in both the outgoing and incoming productions.Celebrate the longest-running version of The Nutcracker in America with a walk-on role in the final performance of the current version in December, 2016. Then, help usher in the new production with a special naming of one of the new costumes, with your personal name plate permanently sewn right inside. You’ll also receive a limited edition, signed costume sketch from the new production. Of course, this package comes complete with a pair of tickets to the Utah debut performance of Ballet West’s new production of The Nutcracker in December, 2017.

Package 2: Act Like Locals (for a weekend) in the Big Apple

Your getaway for two to New York City is booked! Stay 3 nights at the tallest hotel in America, the Marriott Residence Inn on Broadway, November 18-21, 2016. Stay two nights in San Francisco March 31-April 2. On Saturday April 1, join Adam Sklute and Mary Wood, historian and former San Francisco ballerina, for a private lecture and archival tour of Ballet West’s roots. Learn about the first American premieres of full-length ballets, Coppelia, Swan Lake and The Nutcracker. On this evening, join Ballet West family to attend an evening performance of Swan Lake presented by the San Francisco Ballet. Please note that this package does not include air travel.

Commissioned specifically for this Ballet West event, one very fortunate winner will take home this gorgeous, original work by Utah Artist, Jake Songer. Based in Huntsville, Songer’s work is currently shown at Authentique Gallery in St. George, Bella Muse Gallery in Ogden, and Montgomery Lee Gallery in Park City, as well as at Reinert Fine Art Gallery in Charleston, SC. Mr. Songer is known for his ability to capture life in his figurative work, and his unique humor and appetite for living are always evident. He created this work specifically to reflect the beauty and artistry of the ballet world. It’s the perfect addition to a true dance lover’s home.

This is an exclusive opportunity for two to join Ballet West’s Adam Sklute and Company Dancers for an iconic “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” on Saturday March 4, 2017. Tiffany & Co. in City Creek Center will host this private event for a limited number of Ballet West patrons. Enjoy a champagne breakfast and shop the stunning boutique while the doors are closed to the public. The winner of the Opportunity Drawing will have two coveted spots at this event.
