COVID-19 Update
We are happy to welcome you safely to live performances at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center.
To ensure the health and safety of visitors to the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, Salt Lake County Arts & Culture has implemented safety guidelines to slow the spread of COVID-19. This includes socially distanced seating and requiring that masks be worn in the theatre at all times, including during the performance.
We appreciate your cooperation in complying with all Arts & Culture safety measures as we work to ensure the health and safety of our patrons, performers, and staff and remain open for live events.
For further COVID-19 safety protocol details, please visit the COVID-19 FAQ page or contact Patron Services at ticketoffice@balletwest.org.
Limited Ticket Availability!
To promote physical distancing, the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center will be limited to 50 percent capacity, leaving ample room between patrons. With limited capacity, performances will sell out quickly! Plan ahead and purchase early for the best seats and prices!
Choreographic Festival
Once again, audiences will see dancers and choreographers exploring their art form in intriguing and cutting-edge new creations. This year, the festival will showcase an exciting first time collaboration between two Utah arts icons, the Sundance Institute and Ballet West. Principal Artist Emily Adams and Katy Jarzebowski, an alumna of Sundance Institute’s Music Film Program have been commissioned by Ballet West to create a new ballet with original choreography and a music score for a world premiere work.
Matthew Neenan returns to Ballet West to create a world premiere. Neenan’s inventive and contemplative work has appeared around the globe, including Ballet West, where in 2014, he choreographed The Sixth Beauty, which The New York Times said, “possessed soulfulness and life.”
Additional works include a world premiere by recently promoted Principal Artist Katlyn Addison, as well as a new work by former Demi-Soloist Trevor Naumann.
Ballet West Safety Promise
The health and safety of our patrons and staff are our highest priority. We are monitoring health officials’ guidelines for public gatherings and will adhere to accepted best practices. You can purchase with confidence and know that should our schedule change, we will continue to be flexible with your investment in us.
