75th Anniversary Nutcracker Sponsors

Ballet West founder Willam Christensen, fondly known as Mr. C, staged the first full-length American production of The Nutcracker on Christmas Eve in 1944, at the San Francisco Ballet. Ballet West now carries on Mr. C’s legacy with its annual presentation of his Nutcracker – it is the only company to still present his original choreography for what is now the country’s longest-running production of the ballet.

2019 marked the 75th anniversary year of Mr. C’s magical ballet, now beloved by generations of dancers, students, and families. The company celebrated this milestone with a commemorative book written and designed by Ballet West staff, a documentary program produced and aired by BYUtv, and 23 buzzing performances of the evergreen ballet at the historic Capitol Theatre.

Ballet West thanks the below donors who gave generous gifts in celebration of this remarkable occasion.
