Additional Information: In 2005, Sayaka Ohtaki became a freelance performer, touring throughout Japan. She has guest appeared with Komaki Ballet, Japan Ballet Association, and Piccolo Ballet, dancing Principal roles in Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Giselle, Paquita, Le Corsaire, La Sylphide, Napoli, and Don Quixote. In 2007, Ohtaki was invited to perform with the National Theatre of Ulan-Bator, Mongolia to celebrate diplomatic relations. She relocated to New York City in 2008 and trained with David Howard, Gelsey Kirkland, Igal Perry and Ludmila Raianova. Ohtaki has worked with contemporary dance companies such as Thang Dao Dance Company and Collective Body Dance Lab. She also models leotards for LIGNES in New York.
