About Jordan Veit:

Veit is currently a soloist with Ballet West. Originally, from Seattle, Washington, he began his dance training at Pacific Northwest Ballet before accepting a position with Ballet West II in 2012. He was hired into the main company the following year and was promoted to Soloist in 2018. Some of his featured roles with Ballet West include Lensky in Onegin, Benvolio and Paris in Romeo and Juliet, the Cavalier in The Nutcracker, Bluebird and Prince Floristan in The Sleeping Beauty, Neapolitan in Swan Lake, Romeo in David Bintley’s The Shakespeare Suite, William Forsythe’s In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated, Jiří Kylián’s Return to a Strange Land, and he has originated roles in works by Nicolo Fonte, Val Caniparoli, Edwaard Liang, Matthew Neenan, and Africa Guzman. In addition, he has guested with Royal Danish Ballet, Houston Ballet, Oregon Ballet Theatre, Los Angeles Ballet, and Utah Metropolitan Ballet.
