About Emily Neale:

Neale has been dancing with Ballet West for four years. She started dancing in the East at Acton School of Ballet before moving to NYC to join the Gelsey Kirkland Academy. She finished her schooling with the Ellison Ballet Professional Training Program and graduated from the prestigious academy in 2015. She then ventured to SLC, UT to join BWA as a trainee. She joined the main company in October 2016. She continues to bloom and has performed a wide range of roles with Ballet West, including Calliope in George Balanchine’s Apollo, Desdemona in David Bintley’s The Shakespeare Suite, Merce Cunningham’s Summerspace, and the Walking Pas De Deux in George Balanchine’s Emeralds. In 2019, she was the cover star of Pointe Magazine’s Summer issue. That same summer, she expanded her knowledge of contemporary dance by studying with Hubbard Street Dance in Chicago, IL. Emily adores the scenic western nature of Utah and spends her free time hiking, painting, and going to local shows.
