Victoria Vassos, who is half Swiss and half Greek, is from both Ticino, Switzerland, and Serres, Greece. She joined Ballet West II in 2017 and was promoted to the main company in 2019. She started her training as a child in Switzerland, at the Area Danza ballet school. She joined the Staatliche Ballettschule Berlin in Germany, where she graduated in 2015. Victoria participated at the Prix de Lausanne in 2015, and in 2016, she qualified for the Youth American Grand Prix NYC Finals where she placed in the Top 12. She was offered a full scholarship to join the Trainee program at Ballet West. With Ballet West, Victoria has danced in Sklute’s Swan Lake and Giselle, Balanchine’s Jewels, Smuin’s Romeo + Juliet, the Lilac Fairy and Fairy Kindness in Sklute's The Sleeping Beauty, and The Bride in Nijinska's The Wedding, among others.
