Dance Advance

Ballet West's Dance Advance program brings the opportunity of authentic classical ballet instruction directly to students that may not have otherwise considered the possibility of entering into the world of dance training. Experienced teaching artists work with students in grades K-2 in school day workshops, in order to widen the reach of accessibility to ballet training for all. 

By sparking interest in a new activity and discovering talent in communities, Dance Advance creates both enrichment and possible career paths for young dancers. To further the path for continued quality training, select students identified as having strong potential with a high likelihood of success, may be offered scholarships to train at Ballet West Academy.  

Dance Advance embodies the spirt of Ballet West as a progressive company in which individuals from an impressively vast range of backgrounds unite in the beautiful pursuit of creating art. The ultimate hope is that we enhance the landscape of artists participating as dancers for their future careers.
