Ballet West Presskit & Touring Information

APPROVED-2013---Nutcracker---Luke-Isley---Chris-Ruud---Beckanne-Sisk---bw-nutcracker-105
Ballet West has toured internationally and in over 20 states
and in recent years has appeared in three separate series on America’s most prestigious stage – The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The Company has also performed twice at New York City Center’s “Fall for Dance”, Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, Chicago’s famed Auditorium Theatre, opening season of The Smith Center in Las Vegas, the Joyce Theatre, and the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas.

Ballet West was the sole ballet company to perform to a world audience at the Winter Olympics Arts Festival in Salt Lake City, and had the distinction of appearing at one of the most important global celebrations of the arts, Scotland’s Edinburgh International Festival, and was the only American ballet company at the Sixth National China Arts Festival.

Other recent touring engagements include the Guggenheim Museum’s prestigious Works & Process series, the Laguna Dance Festival, and the Northrop Auditorium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Ballet West once again visited The Kennedy Center stage with its critically-acclaimed production of The Nutcracker, where the show repeatedly sold out. The 2018-2019 season saw 630,000+ miles of touring with contemporary and mixed rep productions traveling to Victoria B.C., New York City, Washington, D.C., and multiple cities in the rocky mountain region.
