Angelina Pellini came to Ballet West from Atlanta, Georgia. Before moving to Salt Lake City, she had been the resident stage manager for Terminus Modern Ballet Theater since their inaugural season. During her time with TMBT, she helped produce nine world premieres by choreographers such as Tara Lee, Heath Gill, Ana Maria Lucaciu, and Danielle Agami. She was also the resident stage manager for the Emory University Dance and Movement Studies Program and freelanced for many other dance companies throughout the Atlanta area. She has toured nationally and internationally with companies such as the Atlanta Ballet, Trisha Brown Dance Company, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and Core Dance. She enjoys spending her summers in Vail, Colorado where she has served as a stage manager for the Vail Dance Festival since 2017. Some of her of her most prominent stage management credits include working on the world premiere of Yuri Possokhov’s The Nutcracker for the Atlanta Ballet in 2018 and bringing it to the Kennedy Center in 2019.
In addition to her stage management career, Angelina has a background in performance and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a concentration in Ballet from Kennesaw State University where she graduated summa cum laude and with honors distinction. Her honors thesis on the danger of unqualified dance education is published in the Kennesaw Journal of Undergraduate Research.
