Support Ballet West when you shop at Albertson’s

Use your Albertson’s Preferred Savings Card to earn up to 4% on eligible purchases with proceeds going to support Ballet West’s Education and Outreach programs.
It’s easy! There are two ways to get involved:

1. Log on to https://shop.albertsons.com/eCommerceWeb/CommunityAction.do?action=beginCommunity and click on the “Community Partners” link at the right side of the screen. Click the link next to the word “shoppers” and follow the instructions to register. Make sure you include Ballet West’s Community Partner ID# 49001015928 in your registration
2. Fill out the Community Partners Program form, including Ballet West’s Community Partner ID# 49001015928, and your Preferred Savings Card#, and mail it to:

Once your request is processed you can begin using your Preferred Savings Card to earn money for Ballet West. Not a Preferred Savings Card holder yet? Sign up online at www.albertsons.com by clicking on the “Specials and Savings” tab at the bottom of the screen. Inspire and expand our audience

Through greater development of our I CAN DO (Inspiring Children Not to Drop Out) program and the Ballet West for Children performance series, we will be able to reach a larger and more diverse group of students and educators, creating the next generation of arts patrons.

Deepen and broaden our base of financial support.

Ballet West has successfully managed the fiscal challenges of previous years and now we need to move forward. Now is the right time for planned growth. Ballet West must ask its ardent supporters to deepen their financial investment and inspire new partners to join us in our endeavor. With even greater community involvement we will build a financial foundation capable of supporting activities that are in keeping with the stature, artistic vision and mission of Ballet West. By joining us you will help to enrich the arts in Utah and assure Ballet West’s place in the cultural landscape of the United States.

Build a new home for Ballet West Company and Academy.

It is vital that we build a facility to adequately house our artists and staff. Right now we are operating Utah’s only major ballet company in less than optimum conditions.  Our company of 36 artists (and second company of 10) rehearses in only two studios.  Studio space becomes even more challenging when we factor in the academy which currently divides its time between the opera studios, the University of Utah studios and our limited studio space at the Capitol Theatre.  Add to that our costume shop which is three miles away, our administrative staff which is working on top of each other, and a warehouse for nearly fifty years’ worth of sets and costumes which is currently up for sale.  One can see why a new permanent facility is imperative.  Re-launching our Capital Campaign and building our endowment is a significant task to take on in conjunction with the need to grow our annual operating goal; however, we feel it is necessary for the ultimate survival and success of Ballet West.

To achieve the legacy we all want for Ballet West, we need increased commitment from our strongest allies and new financial partners. Ballet West needs you!  With your help we can broaden our support base, grow and retain talent, present both classic and new programming, and showcase and export the best that Utah has to offer the world of dance.
