Advisory: Downtown will be unusually busy this holiday weekend with several arts performances, Comic Con at the Salt Palace, and the Salt Lake Marathon.  As a reminder, there is no late seating for this ballet production so we encourage you to arrive at the theater 30 minutes in advance. We advise our ballet patrons to plan ahead for possible delays this weekend due to increased traffic, road closures, construction, and limited parking.

AT THE NEWLY RENOVATED JANET QUINNEY LAWSON CAPITOL THEATRE

A not-to-be-missed world premiere for our 50th Anniversary!

Ballet West resident choreographer Nicolo Fonte pays tribute to Igor Stravinsky’s epic creation, The Rite of Spring. This new take on the iconic score promises to be powerful, dazzling and thought-provoking. This unforgettable program also features the Ballet West premiere of Jiří Kylián’s urgent and tender Forgotten Land, set to Benjamin Britten’s stirring “Sinfonia da Requiem,” and George Balanchine’s classic Divertimento No. 15 which embodies the playful elegance of Mozart’s music.
