Ballet West Gala Academy De Filé Information

Ballet West will be holding its annual fund-raising Gala on Saturday evening, November 14, 2009 at the Capitol Theatre and Grand America. As part of this evening, Ballet West will be presenting a special performance at the theater featuring a diverse presentation of Ballet West’s repertoire. Our Artistic Director, Adam Sklute, has asked the Ballet West Academy to appear that evening as well in a De Filé (which is a grand march). Mr. Sklute has been so pleased with the Academy’s presentation in past years, that he wishes to feature the students once again.

In order to put this together on such a large scale, we will be holding a number of rehearsals to prepare for this spectacular event. Rehearsals will be held as follows for ALL dancers in Ballet Foundations 1 & 2, Elementary 1 & 2, Intermediate 1 & 2, Advanced 1 & 2 and Trainees.
